The 2008 Juno Awards are coming to Calgary on Sunday, April 6th! Beginning on Friday, April 4th some of Canada’s finest Aboriginal performers will also be here.
CBC Radio 2 and Barber Lucia Productions Limited present a live music show and celebration on the evening of Friday, April 4th at The GRAND Theatre in Calgary. The Aboriginal Music Celebration feature Canada’s rich and diverse music heritage.
The 2008 Aboriginal Juno nominees will perform their songs amongst a full production show background that intersects Aboriginal music with the award winning direction of internationally renowned artistic director, Dave Pierce. This combination of Aboriginal Juno nominees and mixed art forms will create a one-of-a kind contemporary experience. Brand new performances by prolific Aboriginal performers will be the thread through the evening. CBC Radio 2 will broadcast this live-to-tape performance.
